Recycled Post

I have been tagged by Laura, "That Grrl" to pick a post from the past.

Now I find that quite difficult as I would like to find a really special interesting, moving or funny post. But when I browse through them nothing really catches my eye. Just goes to show what a lot of boring old twaddle I have been producing over the months!!!

So I thought I would use this one as it's very topical at the moment, particularly in the UK as local authorities are desperately looking for ways to encourage us to recycle more, threatening us with yet more charges and fines if we do not recycle enough or recycle correctly. So I think any information that can give us a little help, jog our memories and give us a few tips plus give us the facts about where all this recycled stuff goes and what happens to it has to be useful -

Get Recycling (orignally posted September 9th 2006)

Every year households in Britain throw away 22,000,000 tonnes of waste into landfill. However, as a country we have recycling targets of 25% of municipal waste to reach; we are currently only recovering 14.4%.
We all need to be more responsible whether at home, school, or in business!
