I can't believe the number of people who say they won't be getting the H1N1 flu vaccine because it's not safe. It's just as safe as the seasonal flu vaccine which is very very safe. My family and I have been getting flu shots for over 20 years. Guess what? We don't get flu. That's a really good thing. For most people, flu, whether H1N1 or seasonal, is not dangerous, but it is a major pain. I'm not surprised many people in the US believe nonsense about flu shots (because, you know, we elected Bush twice and many people here think there were cavemen hanging out with dinosaurs), but I didn't think there was so much ignorance about the flu vaccine in other parts of the world.

Thanks Lady B, I was just wondering how many will turn up to have it, both lil man and I should be 2 of the first who get it, but I am still in 2 minds.

Our surgery dont have any in stock yet either, they also say it will be in any day now.

They aren't available in my area right now, but even if the vaccine showed up on my doorstep, I don't think I'd take it. Never had a flu shot and it seems with every new strain there is a new kind of panic. I'll take my chances.
