In my kitchen I have just found a large packet of crisps with about 10 crumbs left, a tub of Pringles with about 3 left, a pack of cream crackers with 1 left.
What is it with this family!? They never want to finish the scraps!
Is it because they don't want to put the rubbish in the bin?
Is it because they don't want to get "accused" of eating all the whatever?
Grrrrr....
Does this happen in other households?
I finish the last crumbs before I throw the empty packet out :) Then, I'm not answerable to anyone else, because they're usually mine.
ReplyDeleteThe most sensible thing to do :)
DeleteMy son will rarely finish anything, unless it is something he bought. Otherwise there are a few of this, a little of that. Not unusual at all!
ReplyDeleteStrange isn't it!
DeleteMy mom is famous in our extended family for saving bits of curry - when we open the fridge we find small vessels with two spoonfulls of some gravy or the other. It's annoying and then she serves dinner with 3 to 4 kinds with just a little bit each. In the last couple of years she has been letting go of this habit but it's still there from time to time.
ReplyDeleteI try not to do that.. I either try to make everyone finish the dinner or hopefully have made enough so there is some for next day!
