I've been dying my hair for years, firstly just for fun then later to cover the silver strands that for some odd reason keep appearing!
When my roots needed doing I’d always plonk the dye on, all over, as it seems way too much bother to fiddle about just doing the roots.
This however leads to a serious amount of colour build up, so I’ve been looking for a product to help “strip” this dense colour.
I was wanting to avoid the over-priced hairdressers if possible and after a little Googling I found Colour B4.
This claims to strip the dye out leaving the hair the original colour, hmmmm..
Considering the years I’ve been using dye I doubted very much it could do that.. unless it left me 100% natural grey!!
Anyway, after reading the long instructions and following them to the letter it has changed my colour quite drastically..and I think it’s done it rather well.
It’s not patchy at all apart from being a little more silvery on top.
So here are the before and after photos..
Not sure which I like the best really, I did quite like my darker hair but was concerned it was too dark particularly at the ends.
I’m probably going to get a lightish brown dye to cover the silvers tomorrow and get a good trim, but for now.. it’s not too bad really..
