Just Watch This Despicable Woman
Just watch this disgraceful pig shovelling food in her mouth, food that was meant for a frail 70 year old with Alzheimer's..
I hope she is punished and shamed accordingly..
We put our loved ones into the care of people we think we can trust.
Sadly this is not always the case.
It makes me so angry.
Mappiness – How Do You Feel?
During my internet browsing today I came across a rather interesting website – Mappiness.org.uk
Mappiness is mapping happiness across space in the UK and it's part of a research project at the London School of Economics.
The way they map this happiness is through an iPhone app.
From the site:
how does it work?
The data gets sent back — anonymously and securely — to our data store, along with your approximate location from the iPhone's GPS, and a noise-level measure.
what's in it for you?
- Interesting information about your own happiness, which is charted inside the app — including when, where and with whom you're happiest
- The warm glow of helping increase the sum of human knowledge .
what's in it for us?
- We're particularly interested in how people's happiness is affected by their local environment — air pollution, noise, green spaces, and so on — which the data from mappiness will be absolutely great for investigating
- We hope to have results published in academic journals and elsewhere — whatever we produce will be linked from here
As you can imagine I have downloaded this app and will take part as often as I can. They ask a few questions at the start but no personally identifiable information which is good.
If you have an iPhone why not do it yourself, go the the Mappiness page and download the app from the link provided there!

Corel Painting App
It's OK.. depends on the photo I guess, but at least it's FREE!
Pogo Fun Photos
For my birthday I got a tiny little photo printer. It’s the Polaroid Pogo Printer.
It’s just a bit bigger than my iPhone and prints out tiny little pictures.
It doesn't need any ink as the paper is already impregnated with ink.
It use’s either bluetooth or USB connector. (shame the iPhone doesn’t have the bluetooth connectivity)
My regular camera works with it very well and does my laptop.
Been a while since I had any prints of photos so it’s really fun!

Time For Changes
Not helped really by having 2 birthday meals, one yesterday and another later today, but life goes on.
I'm not calling it a diet but more a sensible eating way of life.
Not eating more than I need, not eating the moment I feel hungry and not eating un-necessary stuff!
So far it's been difficult, my belly feels hungry all the time and I can't stop thinking about food, all. the. time!!!
I'm not looking to lose tons of weight but just to fit my clothes a lot better as they have all shrunk quite badly in the past few months.
I am also attempting to keep a food diary of everything that passes my lips. This is on another blog which I started, but have not made public, yet. I may do so if I feel I need some shaming!
Also thinking about how, where and when I can increase my exercise levels.
I could get out on my bike but I hate the busy roads and cycling in the dark.
I could go running but not sure if I can find a suitable bra for my 38E boobies!
I could join a gym but I hear rumours that my local one is not that nice, get ya finger out Duncan Bannantyne!
So, lots of changes going on here.
Let's see how long I last!

127 Hours
It’s been a long time since I’ve been to the cinema.
Today I went to see “127 Hours” and I loved it.
I don’t want to spoil the story for any who have not yet seen it so I won’t say too much, but it really got to me, I was, shall we say, very emotional at some points!
The star of the show James Franco is rather cute and I had an overwhelming desire to rescue him!
Definitely a film worth seeing!
The only down side were the stupid idiots behind us who chatted and giggled the entire way through the show. Why bother paying to go to a cinema if you have such a need to talk! GRRRRrrrrr!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO...
Yep, it's my special day, just don't ask how many I've had so far!
And no cake thank you, I'm trying my hardest to eat less of the naughty stuff.
Well... if you insist, just a slither!

I Love Cold Callers
I have a lot of fun with them..
A few years ago I was doing a phone survey which at first I was happy to do but it got very boring and was dragging on, so, I suddenly squealed that my daughter had gone into labour!
Funny, he called me back a week later to see how she was..
Recently I've been getting calls from some kind of claims agency, the first time I was about to leave for work but this evening I couldn't resist playing.
I put on a strange accent and asked him if he was good looking, if he was going to come to dinner with me, give me lots of money. He played along, it probably made his evening a little lighter considering the reaction I'm sure he gets from a lot of people!
I never did find out what he was actually trying to sell me!

Slow Cooked Kitty
I bought a slow cooker a few days ago. I’ve always wanted one but never quite got round to it.
Today I decided to try it out, being home all day I could keep an eye on it.
So I am making (hopefully) a lovely chicken stew.
An hour or so after it had warmed up I found Mabel my cat sitting on the kitchen counter all snuggled close up to the cooker.
Clever kitty, this not only satisfied her desire to find a “warm spot” but to inhale the delicious aromas!
I think I’m going to have to use it in the spare bedroom and keep the door closed when I’m back at work or we could find a slow cooked kitty when we get home!
