Being alone is a situation a lot of us fear but often one we cannot always avoid – perhaps we should learn to embrace it…

This is a shocking video of a crazy woman putting a cat in a bin where it stayed for 15 hours until it was found.
What on earth possessed her to do such a cruel thing is beyond me, and most people no doubt.
Apparently the woman has now been traced and is getting police protection!

This past week I have received lots (and I mean LOTS!) of comments from the following “profiles”
Protect Your Bubble discount code
Now on the face of it I would think they are well and truly SPAM as they lead to the most peculiar sales websites.
Normally spam comments are utter twaddle, with no relevance to the post or blog and would be deleted immediately but these comments are nice.
They are relevant to the posts, and seem to be written by a human as opposed to some automatic spam machine.
So either I am the subject of a very clever spam set up or it is actually someone nice.
Or someone nice with a lot of time to comment and leave their link.
So if YOU are the one responsible for these comments please comment on this post and explain!
Has anyone else had comments from these or similar profiles?
This afternoon I went to Cheddar Gorge - all thanks to Google Maps!
I didn't leave my sofa and I must say it was a very comfortable journey :)
Just wish I could have gone into the caves!
This was Mabel on my lap this morning.
I love the look in her face when she does this, but it is slightly painful for me as her claws really dig in but she was enjoying it so much I didn't stop her.
She continued like this for about 5 minutes before settling down on me, even though she only relaxed for a little while before running off.
I wanted to get out of the house today, the weather was lovely and I spend far too much time indoors during the working week.
But, apart from a couple of Twitter buddies (who it wasn’t really practical to go with) I couldn’t find anyone who wanted to go with me.
So I went alone, on my bike with no particular destination in mind.
I ended up in Kensal Green cemetery and stayed there for almost 2 hours.
It was warm, sometimes sunny and best of all it was peaceful, pure unadulterated “me” time.
I sat, thinking, remembering, daydreaming, just enjoying the environment.
Of course I took a few photos as well.
I had my smear test today, how quickly those 3 years have gone by!
It’s not the nicest thing to have done but it’s certainly not the worst, in fact I felt no discomfort at all this time!
At least my GP will be pleased with me as it’ll help with his “targets” Oh cynical me! lol
Just in case you don’t know what the smear test is take a look at this video..
I spotted this strange watercraft on the Grand Union Canal today and wonder what is it's use?
Any ideas anyone??
This is the latest little game I’ve become slightly hooked on.
I have been playing both on my iPhone and Rob’s iPad.
It’s silly but very cute – oh and very time consuming!
You can read more about it HERE
