£300 a Month!?

Just leafing through a copy of Glamour magazine, yes a real paper mag, when I saw an article on making your home stylish.

It says "Women aged 25 to 54 spend £300 a month on decorating their homes"

WHERE did they get that from I wonder?

Some very well paid women I suppose!

Do you spend that much EACH month on your home?

I certainly don't, no way could I afford to either!

  2. No way !! I don't think I'd be able to if I tried to be honest, I have enough junk and clutter in my home as it is, Mr Posh would cut off my hands if I started spending that much on more stuff for our home each month lol

  7. Good gravy no. The last major item that I bought for my apt was another bookcase. It cost less than $50.

  8. You've come across the phrase: "If you need to ask the price, you can't afford it"?

    Clearly, another phrase to make a note of is: "If you don't spend an average salary each month on home decor, you shouldn't be reading 'Glamour'".

  10. Do cleaning supplies count? That's about all I buy on a monthly basis.

    Our condo is too small so we don't have room to keep adding stuff.

  11. I found my way here in a round about way. I was trying to find out about the black box widget on your sidebar. May I ask where your found it?
    If I click on the widget it goes to an 404error page and not to any site.
