Here Comes The Little Old Grey Haired Lady

Over the years 2 of my 3 children have suffered quite severely with eczema.

In fact even though they are now they are in their 20’s they still get it.

I’ve never had it, until now..

Recently I have been getting small but sore, intensely itchy patches in various places.

The worst place being on my scalp. It’s good that no one can see it but awful because I’m not going to be able to use any hair dye whilst it’s there…. wahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t need to visit my GP, we have a wide variety of ointments here and I think I probably know how to use them better than most having had over 20 years experience!

I just hope it clears up soon or..

I've not ever had eczema, but my once flawless complexion is not so flawless these days. Age :)

I am going to stick my neck out here and suggest that your scalp eczema may well be due to hormonal change.

If this is so then Sage drops, such as Menosan
by A.Vogel are brilliant, so to is Sage tea.

A good hair rinse is Cider Vinegar 50/50 with Spring water and massage gently into the scalp and pat dry the top of your head, do not rub.

The itching sensation can be relieved by taking homeopathic Sulpher 6 one every two hours fo 24 hours then, one tab three times a day.

By far the best cream is Calendula - thjis I know having suffered eczema for many years but not now!

You might also reduce your dairy product intake and if necessary try goats cheese and milk instead.

I just love the stuff that crops up as the years go by, don't you? It's a laugh a minute!
Hope you make it go away!

permanganate of potash added to your bath cures it. Old fashioned remedy that actually works.

That's so incredible (and eerie lol), but I've been having the same problem! My two oldest have it, the youngest not as of yet. The patches are on my scalp, neck, and below and above my eyelids. The nighttime itching has gotten so intense! Never had it before and coincidentally, I have an appointment with the dermatologist in the morning :-).
