Back Together

When my son was away working in Dubai he met Holly.

As he planned his return to England they were devastated to find out that she was not given clearance to come with him.

So he came home alone and she had to return to her home in South Africa.

This was back in May and since then many plans have been made, papers submitted to relevant authorities and at last she was given an entry visa for residence.

This morning at 6:30 she arrived at Heathrow Airport.

I am so happy for them to be together again.

I’ve yet to meet Holly, today they are catching up and chilling together.

Another stepping stone in the life of a parent when your kids get proper live in partners!

I will never have this.

My daughter will not date until she is thirty five. And then, only with heavily armed scowling bodyguards.

Her idea of permissible physical intimacy will be a drifting glance across a very wide room.

(Yeah, right!)
