Come On Winter!

When will this unseasonably warm weather go away?

Don’t get me wrong, I love warm weather, but not now!

I am ready for winter, got a new coat and a lovely scarf and just want to wrap up nice and cosy these dark evenings.

I look forward to the cold crisp mornings, the frost on the leaves and the spider webs.

I’m sure this current weather is a good breeding ground for all the winter bugs as this has been a record week at work! If we were paid per patient per visit I think we’d all be extremely happy.

The weather forecast for the weekend is the same temperature but just wet..not good enough.

It’s got to get cold by Guy Fawkes night, can’t be watching the fireworks in t-shirts!

  1. I know what you mean, it looks colder than it is, I wrapped up in my thick fleece and new hat to take the dog for a walk and was roasting.

    I am however so glad we dont pay per visit to the docs lol ... between lil man and I this past 2 weeks we would be seriously bankrupt lol.

  2. I can relate! It's been so hot here is Florida too, still in the 80's and 90's and the humidity is the really icky part. But then again I don't like cold either - I just want nice sunny breezy days in the 70's - how come that never happens?!

  6. Ohhh, I can't stand it either. All this "in-between" is difficult makes it difficult to get dressed. Looking forward to a full blown winter. C'mon up there, bring it on!
