Mabel’s First Birthday Already!!

Today my little kitten turns into a full grown lady cat!

I can’t believe Mabel is already one year old. We’ve only had her 10 months but how time has flown.

From that little bundle of mischievous fur to a confident young lady.

I was going to mark the event with something yummy for her to eat but just recently she has been “regurgitating” her food rather too often that I’m actually taking her to the vet this evening to check her over. I’m starting to get nervous every feeding time wondering if she is going to keep it down or not.

Otherwise she appears to fine, active and bright and happy so I’m sure it’s nothing serious.

  2. She might have furballs. You may have to give her a little pastey thing to help them digest so she doesn't keep vomiting. Well I hope that is what it is. Let us know. Happy birthday Mabel. 1=7years! WOW.

  3. Mabel is adorable!
    I have 6 cats and at least one of them seems to throw up every day. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong. Maybe it's just a "cat thing".
    The vet said that at least two of them groom each other too much and therefore get hairballs! But the others don't groom each other. They don't even like each other!!
    It's all kind of disgusting ( and worrisome)- but they're worth it.
    Hope everything is alright with Mabel.

  4. Cat puke is a normal part of life because I have 4 cats.

    I was shocked when you said Mabel is a year old already, wow! You always hear about how fast kids grow but I guess we need to say the same things about cats!

    Fortunately our young cats don't puke, but our oldest cat has vomited all her life, every day, preferably on the carpets. She's 19 now...;-)

  11. She does seem to be quite small. I've only seen small cats like that when they are feral females and I assumed it was because they were female and feral (having kittens before they were fully adult). I hope she is just a small cat and not having any health problems. She is super cute. :)
