Spring Snow!

All winter we didn't get a single flake of snow, this morning, 1 week into spring and we woke to heavy snow - it's FANTASTIC!!

I got so excited I ran through the house waking my 2 girls, who were not amused. (They are here for the weekend and had a late night last night!) Just to think not so many years ago they would have been up, pulling on boots and coats, dying to get out there!

Hard to believe on Friday we had such a beautiful day with a high temperature of about 17c (62f)

My neighbours cat was quite bemused by it all!

Snow in April!!! The excitement has left me as well, and so has the surprise the weather brings so often these days.

I want summer!

I was expecting you to have made a snowman, it is odd though to get it now and none during winter.

Cheers Mark

Well there you go - just like what we had. Maybe we're not as far apart as we thought!!

I'm glad your enjoying your snow. Since that's all I've seen since October, I'm really glad that our snow is slowly going... hehe

What a great photo! And the cat looks so curious about it all, lol. But I'm glad we're finally done with the snow (I hope!)

Hi stop by from entrecard. We had snowy spring as well last weekend when we went down to Edinburgh. It was beautiful. I wasn't as bemused as your neighbour's cat, though...

It looks pretty. It seem like the cat doesn't know what to make of it. lol

The city of Rochester was named the snowiest, (of the larger cities), in the U.S. in the last 50 years. So the concept of having almost no snow during winter is one that I can not grasp.
