My Too Short Weekend
Where oh where has this weekend gone!! No sooner than I walk out of work on a Friday evening then it seems it's almost time to go back. I am seriously thinking about asking to work 4 days a week as this often feels like it's overwhelming me.
Yesterday I went to Oxford Street, the biggest shopping street in London. I didn't stay long as I am not fond of crowds, my main reason was to return some stuff to Marks and Spencer - they are so good as they give 3 months return period.
By the way if you do visit the M&S site the young red head girl featured there is Lily Cole, now a top model, not so long ago an ordinary girl who went to school with my youngest daughter and slept over with us a couple of times!
Today, with my partner, I went to take some photos in and around the Putney area (South London). The weather was mixed and it did rain quite heavily for a short while, but at least I scratched the itch I had, to go somewhere and take a few shots.

I used to want to work four days when I was stuck on my 70-hour a week treadmill. Now I work four half days a week M-F. It's nice, but it still cuts into my blogging time. It's a problem!
I get bummed out Saturday night knowing that the next day is Sunday and then it will be Monday!
And I just to to school!
Go ahead....ask for the four day work week, you'll be glad you did.
No work for me today. We're right in the middle of the big storm here on the coast. Very scary wind and rain flooding in under the windows. Faz is smart, she is hiding under the covers.
I forgot to change my clock. (in the states it is daylight savings time), we are suppose to advance it forward.
So all day today I was 1 hour back.
yup time is flying way too fast. Have a wonderful week
I'd love to go shopping on Oxford Street someday :)
I've heard of Lily Cole! She's very famous now. Causing quite a stir in the fashion world with her sweet, pretty face.
Oh I know what you mean. The weekends are never long enough. I worked 4 days a week and it was so nice to have that extra day to catch up. You should definitely try to do that. Now since I hurt my back I only work 3 days a week, and would you believe I still find time to complain my weekends too short. :) There is only one thing for it, quit your day job and become a full time blogger!
