Gold Star Tomorrow!
Way back in July 2000, not long after getting my first PC (I was an Amiga user before that) I joined my first ever social site FEESCH. This is a site purely for UK users, which used to be limited to ICQ users only. In recent months however with the decline of ICQ usage it has opened to others (still UK only though)
I met online and offline quite a few people from Feesch and attended a few of the meet ups a few years ago. But I've not really used it much recently.. I think my life has changed so much over the past few years and I don't seem to have enough time to get as involved. Also since being with my partner I am no longer a "free" woman and that led to a very sudden drop in people chatting to me, both through Feesch and MSN.. Oh the guys I thought were "friends" were so obviously not and just sniffing around like dogs.
Another negative for Feesch is that your profile is limited to a very small amount of characters unless you pay £10 per year. While this is not a huge amount of money it's difficult to justify when there are so many more alternatives around these days. My extended page was paid for by a very kind and generous co-feescher, but this expires sometime later this year and I doubt I will renew, although I'm sure I will remain a member but with limited profile.
Anyway back to the point.. I just received an email informing me that tomorrow I will be Gold Star for the day on the Feesch pages. This is randomly picked and highlights one lucky user for 24 hours!
