My cats jump up on the banister to our stairs inside our house -- one story up. They like it up there. As long as no one disturbs them, they're fine. Their ability to balance and "hang on" is amazing. I did find the lame comments on YouTube about this video interesting. I guess it's all about shock value. Cute cats.
Makes me miss having cats around. Mine used to jump on on the bannister of our deck which overlooked the ravine. It was a big drop too. They made it look like nothing to hop up there.
The best one was the cat who appeared at my bedroom window, outside on the ledge one morning. I could never see how she got up there. Or how she got down. I talked to her at the window for awhile. She was down by the time I came outside an hour or so later. She never did it again. lol Must have had something special to talk about early that day.

i wonder if my two dogs can do that??..hmm... on second thought, i dont think so, they are very clumsy, expecially the younger one.
JUst watching that makes me cringe. I have enough trouble looking out the upstairs windows!
That's seriously scary. Even the first few seconds were difficult to watch!
