Time To Lose

Since the weather started to get better I've had to get out the boxes of summery clothes that I have. I was so upset when I found the vast majority of them have shrunk - well that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
No seriously, I seem to have piled on a few pounds during the winter which I am now desperate to loose. Funny thing most people haven't even noticed so I tell myself it can't be that bad, but anyway it's bad enough I have so few clothes to wear now. So a choice must be made, make changes with my diet or dump all my clothes then go out and buy all new! While the latter idea sounds great fun I really can't afford it, I think it will be a far more economical idea to cut down on what I'm eating..
So for the past 2 days I have started to make a real effort, not to diet as such but to be careful what and how much I consume. Of course it's not easy as I think about yummy food all the time and feel hungry all the time, hope this will pass soon!
I don't do any specific exercise but walking 2 miles (there and back) to work everyday must count for something..
Anyway, wish me luck to stay on track!

I'm pretty sure the winter monster comes along each Christmas, takes your old stuff back and replaces it with the same clothes only a size smaller. That's what happens here anyway.
(Good luck x)
Here, on the other side of the world, it is getting progressively colder...
I can feel the winter monster approaching. I hope he doesn't touch my jeans - they cost a fortune...
I love that picture!!!
I hope it's not me in 6 months time...
