Every day I walk to work. Its just the right distance for a bit of exercise and I pass through a small park, its not the most beautiful park but its nicer than just plain old roads. In fact its quite a nice walk, takes about 20 mins each way...However one thing that never ceases to annoy me soo much are the bus stops, well not the bus stops themselves, its the people that queue at them. WHOOPS ! Did I say queue!!! NO Way they do not queue, that's the annoying bit, they stand wherever they feel like standing, well I hear you thinking, it is a free country! But they stand in a loosely packed crowd, all over the pavement, they leave no space for other people (such as myself on my journey to and from work) to pass by. They stand in a way that observes the need for their personal space between each of them BUT this does not leave enough space for anyone else to get through the "crowd". I approach this crowd each and every morning with trepidation, usually there are several people there facing me as I approach and every day I think, YES they see me coming, they will have the good grace and manners to move a little to allow my passage. But NO! never does that happen, I have to say loud and clear.. "Excuse Me" which as a well bought up woman I have no objection to. The problem is these people, this crowd is 99% ignorant, rude and plain inconsiderate - they just do not move. So what does that leave me to do.. it leaves me to have to barge through, which then makes these people groan and grunt at MY rudeness! It makes me feel, to put it it lightly rather pissed off! So please think next time you are waiting for that bus, is there room for others to pass by without encroaching on your personal space? Are you a considerate "crowd" member?
