A Star Was Born
Back in the 1970's, (yeah I know I'm showing my age!) I saw at the cinema "A Star Is Born" a film starring Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson. It was as I remember a beautiful tragic film. I have the soundtrack and still regularly listen to it (and sing along - hehe) I wonder why this film has never been released on DVD!?! I'm sure I cant be the only one who would love to see this film again and I hope one day it will be available.
If anyone knows if it may ever be released please let me know!

Do you have the DVD yet? It was released in the States on November 28, 2006. It is being sold at Amazon, and other places. You may want to google it.
Wow, I didn't realise it was so long ago I blogged about this.
Just looked on Amazon.co.uk and yes it is available, however not sure about the duties I may have to pay as it would be sent from US:
Region 1 encoding (requires a North American or multi-region DVD player and NTSC compatible TV. More about DVD formats.)
MY DVD player is multi-region so this is no prob
Note: you may purchase only one copy of this product. New Region 1 DVDs are dispatched from the USA or Canada and you may be required to pay import duties and taxes on them
Not sure I want to take the chance and have to pay some exorbitant duty!
I see... You may want to check British stores/on-line first. Even if it's slightly used.
